This is a Money Wallet. I'd never heard of it until this morning.
Below is the Money Wallet opened with a liner placed in and just a strip of the designer bird paper at the top.
This morning I watched a video from Pinky's World Stampin Projects blog on how to make a Money Wallet. I really liked the way it looked and decided I'd try my hand at it. I had a few problems when I scored a wrong line but thankfully I was able to cover it with designer paper. You can click on her name above and it will link you up if you'd like to see her project and watch the video.
This is lovely Bunny. I like your DP that you used and that you chose the red and brown from it for the sentiment. I'm thinking of trying this fold but might have to adjust the measurements to fit our currency!
ReplyDeleteI'm back with my DT hat on. Thank you for joining in the Anything Goes Challenge at Lil Patch Of Crafty Friends and apologies for the late comment.
DeleteGood on you for trying a new technique so quickly Bunny, it's great that you've learned something new! I love trying new things... although it's sometimes frustrating when you make a mistake. I love the patterned paper you used, it's gorgeous design. The layered sentiment looks fabulous, I love that combination of colours.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Beccy
I was taken with Pinky's money wallet as well and think I will be making one or two as well. It's lovely to see you at Stamping Sensations but I don't think there is any stamping on your creation and we are a stamping challenge?

That's gorgeous! A great way to give a gift of money. Love the bird DP. I must checkout Pinky's link too! Thanks for sharing with us at Stamping Sensations, it's just a shame about the lack of stamping, as Brenda says, but we hope you'll join us again for our December challenge.
