I love the Colorado Craft Company's Anita Jeram line.  I like the colors and papers on this and will probably duplicate it. I've been trying to get CCC to start a challenge blog. If you're up with that send them an e-mail and let them know. 

This is one of those cards I look at and say, "Hey, I  like how this turned out". Most of the time we're too critical of what we create, aren't we?

Like the mice I am a lover of hot chocolate. I love marshmallows in my hot chocolate but haven't eaten them in years. Nothing but sugar and I am addicted to sugar. I can't tell you the number of times I use to throw in the marshmallows only to gobble them down and then I'd add more. I can't even imagine the number of calories I consumed in one cup. It's funny, I don't really care for the taste of marshmallows until they're hot. Wouldn't it be nice not to have to worry about calories? Oh, those were the days.

What a nice friend to sit and crack pecans for them, eh? I love how patiently they're waiting, also. So,  how do you pronounce the word pecan? Pe-can or Pe-con? I've always pronounced it pe-can.

Lili Of The Valley - Three Kind Mice Key - For privacy reasons I didn't add the address
Tonic - Windsor uppercase letters
MFT - Blueprints 20
Stampendous - Chunky Metallic Seasonings Embossing Enamel. I used this on the key and the alphabet letters. It's easy to do. Just swipe Versamark on a piece of card stock and then add your embossing enamel and heat it. That way you can die cut what ever you want out of the piece of card stock you heat embossed.

Another back to school card and matching envelope for someone special. I don't know what made me color the carpet red because Copic reds are difficult for me. Even worse is that I left if for last when I should have colored it first. That was living dangerously.

It's back to school tomorrow. Some of the kids are really happy to go back. 

I made this card for a neighbor that lives down the street and a matching envelope too. For those that play at Di's Pixie's Snippets Playground she had an alphabet stamp set she was giving away as a prize. I thought it was so cute. Di helped me figure out the name of the set as it came from a magazine and my super sleuth husband found it on Amazon. Be careful what you ask for. The little pieces have to be cut apart. I'll probably cut them apart and throw out the lower case letters. I decorated an envelope before I started cutting letters. Can you see my mistake on the front of the envelope? Maybe I need to go back to school.
