More Pink and white and watercolored. I'm still playing with that SSS Floral Hexagon stamp. I really do love it. This is a square card which is unusual for me to make. Mainly because I don't have square envelopes and here in the U.S. it cost more to mail square cards. I'm not sure what the reason is behind that.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card! I love that stamp set and have it on my wish list.
ReplyDeleteThe envelopes I use are A6 (4.75 inches by 6.5 inches). I like them because a standard 4.25 x 5.5 inch card has a little wiggle room in case some of the embellishments hang off the edge or the card is a little thicker. I use these envelopes for square cards, too. Just make sure they are no larger than 4.5 inches square, and you can save on postage.
Also gorgeous, Bunny. I love the pinks.
ReplyDeleteI do make square cards from time to time, depending on my design. I got some of the "extra ounce" stamps to put on them. I was told they cost extra because they are not machineable and have to be sorted manually.

Thanks, Monica. That makes sense. When I send regular A2 cards that have any embellishment or a certain height because of popping them up I get the post office to hand cancel (they do this for free) so that it doesn't go through the machine and tear it up.
DeleteLove the hexagons, the pretty pink flowers and your embossed sentiment... beautiful card. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully designed card and stunning colours.
ReplyDeleteGreat repeat stamping on this one, very pretty. I love that you stuck with pink and white, it makes it very classy xx
ReplyDeleteThis is a real treat to the eyes Bunny. Gorgeous shade of pink again and very elegant with that design.
ReplyDeleteI think the square design is perfect for this repeat stamping. I think it shows off the design better than a rectangular card. Just give it to a wonderful neighbor and not mail it. So glad you joined us for our "All About the Flowers" August challenge at Die Cut Divas https://die-cut-divas.blogspot.com/.
