I finally purchased some Distress Oxide inks. I know, I'm late to the party. This is my first attempt at using them. I used the colors Picked Raspberry and Fossilized Amber. I had an old flower stamp that I inked up in the Picked Raspberry and stamped on top of the colors and then used an embossing folder.

Gorgeous card, Bunny, can't believe this is your first attempt! Love the design and the colours are beautiful. The embossing is a great idea. You'll be pleased to know you not the last to arrive at the party. My Distress Oxides arrived today and I'm planning my first attempt using them tomorrow. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks, Liz. Mine only came yesterday. So we were only a day apart. I hope we both have a LOT of fun with them.
DeleteGreat work Bunny. And I thought NZ was the last place to get anything new! Love the soft effect you achieved and the clever colour layering. CarolG
ReplyDeleteGorgeousness on a card, great stamping, use of the oxides is awesome, a real professional, and then the embossing, all looks soooo beautiful...Congrats and this will obviously not be your last play with them. [aNNie]
