I watched a Jennifer McGuire YouTube video this morning called Watercolor Lifting with Heat Embossing
It's a great video and the finished result was beautiful. I jumped on it. I wanted to try it right then.
Well............just like baking you need to follow the recipe. I made a wrong turn in Albuquerque and used an open spaced stamp rather than a solid stamp. I wondered why it wasn't looking like Jennifer's until I went back and watched the part about the stamp. I do like the colors on my card even if I did make a big mistake. I'll go back to the drawing board. Just not today.

What a sensational card, love these colours. You may not have used the same as Jennifer but you certainly succeeded in making a wonderful eye catching card.

ReplyDeleteThank you. I found out I only have 1 stamp that I could use for this technique but it's so small I won't. I'm going shopping at my girlfriend's first. I would love to get the one that Jennifer used from Paper Smooches. It's already sold out. Good luck in Albuquerque.
