Copic Jumpstart Lesson 3

I'm on Lesson 3 of Sandy Allnock's Copic Jumpstart class. We've been practicing and experimenting with our shading. Some colors I've used were not so pretty together. So I throw those in the recycle bin. My yellows on this page were not quite what I wanted but I'm keeping it and will do better next time. I've practiced with some other colors and they turned out rather well. Sometimes magic does happen. I do love my Copics and am always trying to learn as much as possible. As with anything else, coloring takes practice. It's never too late to start if you'd like to join in. We are on lesson 4 today. I have been behind as I'm having a hand issue. I can at least color with my good hand. Thank goodness these lessons don't require us to be on the same page as everyone else. Plus, I can look at the videos over and over.

  1. I am enjoying the class as well. I am getting to work on Lesson Three, but watched lesson IV. I agree that practice is what makes us better. I love the opportunity to learn from Sandy and to work to make my images pop more.
Thanks for sharing your card. I am a big believer of using what I have; it is what I bought it for! LOL!!
